About TEDxTallinn*

In the spirit of “Ideas Worth Spreading” a group of enthusiasts from Estonia decided to organize a TEDx event in Tallinn. The first TEDxTallinn took take place on the 20th of November 2009 in KUMU (Art Museum of Estonia). The speakers included: Mart Raukas (philosopher), Alar Tamming (entrepreneur and psychologist), Aivar Haller (education activist), Viive-Riina Ruus (education expert), Tiit Ojasoo (theatre director), Helene Vetik (designer), Jaan-Olle Andressoo (molecular biologist), Olev Poolamets (andrologist) and Ants Paju (social activist and politician). Musical performances from Sandra Sillamaa and Andrus Elbing.
